NDIS Occupational Therapy that Comes to You!

Youth Living Skills services the South West Sydney area and staff travel to the homes of its clients.

This is convenient for clients (no more rushing in traffic to meet appointment times!) and enables the therapy to be conducted in the person’s home environment, so that therapy can be more practically and realistically applied. We also do not charge a travel fee like other service providers, and our staff have flexible working hours to accommodate people’s busy lives, including availability after business hours and even on weekends.

NDIS Occupational Therapy

Clients’ parents or families

are often involved in sessions with the Occupational Therapist so that they can be more aware of how to develop the skills covered by the sessions (e.g. by practicing the taught skills with the client on a daily basis), and learn how to better manage some challenging or disruptive behaviours that the client may have.

For Occupational Therapy to be most effective and beneficial for people, it is important that the skills covered in Occupational Therapy sessions are incorporated into people’s everyday lives, and this is often best achieved by clients’ families.
